The General Manager (Sales) will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, and leading the sales team for Green Energy Co., Ltd., with a strong focus on EV chargers and other renewable energy products. This role demands a results-driven leader who can identify market opportunities, build strong client relationships, and manage key accounts while promoting sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for EV chargers and renewable energy solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
  • Build partnerships with stakeholders, including developers, government agencies, and private sectors, to expand the business footprint.
  • Create tailored proposals and presentations for potential clients to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
  • Set individual and team sales targets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing client needs promptly.
  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in EV chargers and renewable energy technologies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and materials.
  • Provide technical and product knowledge support to the sales team and clients.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities to stay informed about policy changes impacting the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management role within the renewable energy or related industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of EV charging solutions, renewable energy products, and market trends.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the renewable energy industry in Myanmar is an advantage.
